Katsura Mizumoto

札幌市生まれ。宮澤功行氏、中川和子氏に師事。
数々の国際ピアノコンクール受賞の後、ヨーロッパ、日本を中心に演奏活動を続けている。
小山実稚恵氏「今にもよみがえってきそうな、印象深い演奏」（月刊ショパン）、バドゥラ・スコダ氏「真にすばらしいピアニスト」、「洗練された音色に、見事なテクニック、そして並外れた表現力の持ち主である。」（フランクフルター・アルゲマイネ新聞）など、著名な音楽家や音楽批評家に好評を博す。北海道大学経済学部卒業後、ドイツの国立フランクフルト芸術大学留学、ヘルベルト・ザイデル、ライナー・ホフマン氏に師事。ディプロマを審査員全員一致の満点で取得。2006年、同大学国家演奏家資格コース卒業。レオン・フライシャー、レフ・ナトチニ、ビターリ・マルグリス、アルバンベルク四重奏団のメンバーにマスタークラスにて師事。
今井信子、フィリップ・グラファン、松山冴花、ミヒャエル・ザンダルリング、チャールズ・ナイディッヒ,アルバンベルク弦楽四重奏団メンバー等と共演。ベルリンコンツェルトハウス、ブリュッセルパレデボザール、パリのフォーレホールなどで演奏、室内楽演奏家としても活躍。ソリストとして、室内楽奏者として活躍、オフリド国際音楽祭、シモニコーク国際室内楽音楽祭、アンギヤン国際音楽祭などにも招待されている。現在、ドイツ国立フランクフルト芸術大学講師を経て、現在 ブリュッセル王立音楽院、エリザベート王妃チャペル音楽学校の 弦楽器科ピアニスト。https://www.katsuranokai.ecnet.jp/eng/index.html

Piano 　KATSURA MIZUMOTO

KATSURA MIZUMOTO is an active pianist performing in the U.S.A., Europe and Asia.

She has appeared with the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, the Stadttheater Giessen and at a variety of music festivals including International Chamber Music Festival Schiermonnikoog, the Enghien International Musical Encounters　and Ysaye Festival.

Her live performances have been broadcasted by Radio Hessischer Rundfunk, Radio Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, Radio Sud West Deutsch, Fernsehen Deutsch Berlin and Radio Klara.

She played with members of the Alban Berg quartett and manderling quartett, she played chambermusic with Nobuko Imai, Charles Neidich, Philippe Graffin, Gary Hoffman and Michael Sanderling, among many other eminent figures.

Katsura has been awarded by the A.M.A. Calabria International Piano Competition in Italy, Felix Mendelssohn Competition in Germany, and Emmanuel Durlet International Piano Competition in Belgium.

After receiving an Economics Degree from the Hokkaido University in Japan, Ms. Mizumoto moved to Germany to pursue a career in music at the Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main where she received the 'Highest Distinction' for her B.M., M.M. and Soloist's Diploma. From 2002-2009, Katsura was teaching at the Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main and she is a docent at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
